Let us come before God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. We will pray for your best friend and the other friend who is transitioning to a new job. The Father's heart is burdened for our needs and He loves us all dearly.
First, let's pray for your best friend who needs a suitable job. God wants us to trust Him for our needs and also to work diligently.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You would provide a suitable job for our dear sister in Christ. We know that You are a good Father who loves to give good gifts to Your children. Help her to trust in You and to be patient as she awaits Your provision. Help her to know that You provide for the sparrows and the flowers. You will likewise take care of her.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask these things. Amen.
Sister, let your friend remember the words of the Lord Jesus,
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens: they don't sow, they don't reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds! Luke 12:22-24 WEB.
Now, let's pray for your other friend who is anxious about his new job. It is important to trust God with the future. In Christ, there is no need to be afraid.
Father God,
We ask that You would fill our brother in Christ with Your perfect peace and love. Help him to trust in You and to rest in Your sovereignty. Help him to know that You are always with him and that You will never leave him nor forsake him. Help him in his new job.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask these things. Amen.
Brother, consider Paul's exhortation to not be anxious:
Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Be reminded that Jesus will never leave us or forsake us.
He has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So that with good courage we say, "The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:5b-6 WEB.
Lastly, we want to remind you to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father.
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB.
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB.
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.
