We understand your heart's desire for your son to secure a job in his field and find happiness. Let us first turn to God's Word to guide our prayers and thoughts. Proverbs 16:3 in the World English Bible (WEB) tells us, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." Also, in Colossians 3:23-24, it is written, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Pwethiel's son. We ask that You guide his steps and open the right doors for him in his career. We pray that he will secure the job he applied for if it aligns with Your will for his life. We ask that You fill him with joy and contentment, no matter the outcome, knowing that true happiness comes from You. Help him to work heartily, as for You and not for men, and to trust in Your perfect plan for his life.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you, Pwethiel, to continue trusting in God's plan for your son's life. Remind him that God's ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and what seems like a delay or denial may be God's direction towards something better. Also, ensure that your son knows the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in all his ways, as it is by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6). If there's any indication that your son is not yet committed to a personal relationship with Jesus, encourage him to consider this vital step.
