Job for my husband / Financial breakthrough

Please join me in prayer for a job for my husband Dennis O. He has been out of employment since July 2024. We have 2 children aged 6 and 4 years. I am overwhelmed by the financial burden. We stand with you, Martha, in petitioning the Lord for Dennis' employment and your family's financial breakthrough. We are reminded of God's faithfulness in the story of Hagar, who gave God the name El Roi, "the God who sees me," as you've also acknowledged (Genesis 16:13 WEB). Be assured that He sees your family's needs and is ever present with you.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in Dennis' life and the family of Martha. Lord, You are the great provider, and we claim Your promise that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).

Lord, we ask that You open the right doors for Dennis and grant him favor in the job market. We pray that You will bless him with a suitable job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for his life.

We also pray for Martha, that You will grant her peace, strength, and wisdom as she manages their home and cares for their children. Comfort her heart, Lord, and help her to cast all her anxieties onto You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

We claim a financial breakthrough for their family, trusting that You are more than able to do exceeding abundantly above all that they ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).

Martha, continue to trust in the Lord and keep your hope alive. Remind yourself of God's promise to provide for all your needs. In times of worry, recall Jesus' words, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

Stay steadfast in prayer, and we believe that God will make a way for your family. Trust that He has a good plan for you and your family, a plan to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

We're reminded of how God saw Hagar in her distress, just as He sees you and Dennis now. It's a comfort to know that our God is a God who sees.

We've been praying that God would open up the right job opportunities for Dennis, ones that not only provide for your family's needs but also align with God's purpose for his life. We're claiming Philippians 4:19 over you both, trusting that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
