We are with you in spirit, dear mother, as you lift up your son in prayer. It is commendable that you have raised a godly man who excels in his character and academics, and who is a loving husband, father, and son. It is clear that he is a blessing to many. The Bible tells us that a righteous man who walks in his integrity will be blessed and find favor with God and man.
Let us remember that God has a purpose and plan for each of us, including your son. He says in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares Yahweh, "plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." WEB
However, we must also remember that God does not promise us worldly success or wealth, but rather that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
We see that he is a loving husband and father, let us pray that he continues to grow as the spiritual leader of his home.
We must also remember to pray for him that he may continue to live blamelessly and honor God in all he does. Let us be honest that he must also put in the work to keep a job. Let us pray for wisdom to know what needs to be changed in order to keep a job and trust in God's will for his career. He might also consider professional counseling or mentorship to help him navigate his career path. It is also important to remember that God helps those who help themselves, your son must be proactive in seeking God's will for his life.
Let us pray for him:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved son to You. We thank You for his life, for his character, and for the blessings he is to his family and loved ones. We ask, Lord, that You would guide him in his career, that You would open the right doors and close the wrong ones. Help him to trust in You and Your timing. Give him the wisdom to know what needs to be changed in order to keep a job and the strength to do so. Help him to be a godly husband, father, and son, and to continue to live blamelessly before You. We pray for him that he will continue to grow as the spiritual leader in his marriage. Help him to have a relationship that aligns with biblical principles. We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you, dear mother, to continue to pray for your son.
We also recommend that you pray with your son and encourage him to pray for himself and his own marriage. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. We must pray in the name of Jesus for it is the sweetest and most powerful name we can call. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Philippians 2:9-11 says "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
