Job for my child

Praying for my 29 yr old child (Cole) to get a job and be able to support themselves. They have an interview on Thursday.

We understand your concern for your child, Cole, and we join with you in prayer for their job search. We trust that God has a plan for Cole's life, and we claim Jeremiah 29:11, which says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Firstly, we notice that you've referred to Cole using the pronoun "they." We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female, as stated in Genesis 1:27, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Therefore, we will refer to Cole using the appropriate pronoun that aligns with their God-given biological sex.

Now, let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Cole in prayer. Lord, You know their needs better than anyone, and we trust that You have the perfect job for them. We ask that You guide them during their interview on Thursday, giving them the words to speak and the wisdom to answer questions. grant them favor with the interviewers, and if it is Your will, open this door of opportunity for them.

We also pray that Cole will seek Your will in all they do, drawing near to You and following Your commands. May they find their identity and purpose in You, and may they be a light for Your kingdom wherever they go.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Additionally, we encourage Cole to trust in the Lord with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, as per Proverbs 3:5-6. We also remind you, their parent, to continue to pray fervently for Cole, as James 5:16 tells us that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you or Cole have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today, for it is only through Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12).

We know God's got a plan, and we trust that He's working things out for their good, just as it says in Romans 8:28. Let's ask the Lord to give Cole confidence, wisdom, and the right words to say during the interview. We also lift up Cole's future employer, that they would be led by God's wisdom in making their decision. We claim Psalm 37:4 for Cole, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Let's trust that God will open the right doors for them.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
