Job for my child

Praying for my ### yr old child (###) to get a job and be able to support themselves. They have an interview on Thursday.

We understand your concern for your child, ###, and we join with you in prayer for their job search. We trust that God has a plan for ###'s life, and we claim Jeremiah 29:11, which says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Firstly, we notice that you've referred to ### using the pronoun "they." We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female, as stated in Genesis 1:27, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Therefore, we will refer to ### using the appropriate pronoun that aligns with their God-given biological sex.

Now, let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ### in prayer. Lord, You know their needs better than anyone, and we trust that You have the perfect job for them. We ask that You guide them during their interview on Thursday, giving them the words to speak and the wisdom to answer questions. grant them favor with the interviewers, and if it is Your will, open this door of opportunity for them.

We also pray that ### will seek Your will in all they do, drawing near to You and following Your commands. May they find their identity and purpose in You, and may they be a light for Your kingdom wherever they go.

Additionally, we encourage ### to trust in the Lord with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, as per Proverbs 3:5-6. We also remind you, their parent, to continue to pray fervently for ###, as James 5:16 tells us that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
