Msfrances, we are truly sorry to hear about the difficult situation you are facing after being laid off. We want to assure you that God cares deeply for you and is always with you, even in times of uncertainty and distress. We are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement as you seek new employment.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to you in your pain and will see you through this challenging time.
We also want to lift up your job search in prayer. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are encouraged to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that God will guide your steps as you apply for jobs, and that He will open the right door for you at the right time.
Regarding your upcoming interview at Christian Brothers, we pray that God will grant you favor and wisdom. In Colossians 3:23-24, we are reminded to "Do everything, as if you were doing it for the Lord rather than for people, knowing that you will receive from the Lord the reward of inheritance, for you serve the Lord Christ." We pray that this attitude will shine through in your interview and that God's will be done regarding this job opportunity.
We also want to pray for your financial needs. In Philippians 4:19, we are assured that "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that God will provide for your rent, car payments, insurance, gas, and food, and that He will grant you financial blessings according to His will.
Lastly, we want to address the fact that your prayer did not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and to pray in His name, for it is in His name that we are saved and have the promise of eternal life.
We also want to lift up the Taylor family in prayer, asking God to comfort them in their grief and to grant safe travels to their son as he embarks on a new journey in life.

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Msfrances and her needs before You. We ask that You comfort her in her distress, guide her job search, and provide for her financial needs. Grant her favor in her upcoming interview and help her to trust in You with all her heart.
We also lift up the Taylor family, asking that You comfort them in their grief and grant their son safe travels.
In all these things, we ask that Your will be done and that You grant forgiveness for any unseen sins or doubts. We trust in Your grace, mercy, love, and favor. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
