Hi, I am still looking for a job. My husband retired and it depleted my inheritance from my mom and we are officially struggling and getting more in debt. I have applied several places outside of the home for office work with no luck, and I am also an experienced transcriptionist and I have applied and taken several typing tests with no luck. I would prefer to work at home transcribing if possible. My husband has trades that are more in demand than what I do and he could get a job in a heartbeat, but I asked him the other day and he still refuses and becomes angry if I say anymore. Do you think God can change his heart? Because I fear the answer to our problems is for him to go back out in the working world. I may go to Dollar Tree and ask for a position but I have back problems and IBS, so I am fearful to try it. Please ask God for at least a sign that everything is going to work out because the anxiety is giving me headaches. Please pray for us. Thank you.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up our dear sister Glammawof4 and her family in prayer. Lord, You are our Provider and Sustainer, and we trust in Your unfailing love and provision. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We hold onto this promise, knowing that You are aware of every detail and need in this family's life.

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in their financial struggles. Open doors of opportunity for Glammawof4, especially in her desire to find work as a transcriptionist from home. Grant her favor with employers and success in her applications and tests. We also pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart and guide him with wisdom and compassion. May he be open to considering work opportunities that could alleviate their financial burdens.

Lord, we know that You are a God who can change hearts, as Proverbs 21:1 says, "The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will." We ask that You turn her husband's heart towards understanding and action, and bring unity and peace to their home.

We also lift up Glammawof4's health concerns, her back problems, and IBS. Grant her relief and healing, Lord, and give her the strength and courage to pursue opportunities that align with her capabilities. Help her to feel Your comforting presence and to trust that You are working all things together for good, as Romans 8:28 assures us: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Lastly, we pray for a sign of Your faithfulness and assurance for Glammawof4. Calm her anxieties and headaches, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7. Let her feel Your loving arms around her, guiding and protecting her every step of the way.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you so much!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
