Thank you, Calewen, for sharing your prayer request. We understand that you and your husband are both teachers, and you're seeking God's intervention for your careers. We will pray for open doors and better opportunities for both of you, but let's first align our hearts with God's will and His principles.
Firstly, we want to remind you of Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB) which says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." This verse encourages us to do our best in our jobs, as if we're working directly for God.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Calewen and her husband. We thank You for their hearts to teach and impact the lives of students. Lord, we ask that You open up new opportunities for them in their teaching careers. Help them to find favor in their current jobs, both virtually and physically. Give them wisdom to teach effectively and bless their students through their work.
We also pray that You help them to trust in You, even in times of uncertainty. Remind them that Your plans are always good, and You have a purpose in every season. Lord, guide their steps and lead them to the right places for Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Calewen, we encourage you both to continue trusting in God and His timing. Be diligent in your work and always seek God's will in your careers. Remember, God promises to provide for His children, as seen in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's essential to recognize that it's through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is salvation in no other name (Acts 4:12). If you haven't already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus and invite Him into your life.
