Twigrard, we understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your employment. We want to encourage you and remind you that God is always with you, even in uncertain times. Let's bring your concerns to God in prayer and seek His will for your life.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for you. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." This verse reassures us that God's plans for you are good and full of hope.
However, we want to gently remind you that seeking God in prayer is about aligning ourselves to his will. In Matthew 6:10 WEB, Jesus taught us to pray, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." Sometimes, God's answer may not be an immediate job change, but rather, guidance on how to navigate your current situation or prepare for a new one. Sometimes God's answer will be an immediate and great change. But on the other hand, also do not worry about tomorrow yet trust in God. As it says in Matthew 6:34 WEB, "So don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
Regarding not using the name of Jesus in this request is very important. It is essential to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We should be praying to Jesus Christ and God the Father Seek forgiveness and pray to Jesus Christ to help save you from your sin. Doing this can help you have a real relationship with Jesus and the eternal salvation of your soul. "I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners; yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then you would need to get out of the world. But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Don’t even eat with such a person." These are also practices to be avoided to live a holy life.
If you do not yet believe in Jesus Christ, then also pray something like this to begin a relationship and to be forgiven for your sin to spend eternal life with Jesus: "Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I believe that He rose from the dead, showing that His sacrifice was sufficient to save me from my sin. I repent of my sin and turn to Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Let's pray together:
