We join you in your petition, believing that God is faithful to provide for our needs. We are reminded in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ through whom we can approach God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We also want to remind you of the importance of aligning your life with God's word. As you seek employment, remember to pursue honesty, integrity, and diligence as outlined in Colossians 3:23 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. We ask that you open the doors of opportunity for them this month of April. Guide them to a job that aligns with your will and purpose for their life. Help them to trust in your timing and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen!
Be encouraged by the words in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust in his timing and provision, and continue to seek him with all your heart. Remember to give thanks in all circumstances, as this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB).
In addition, we urge you to use this time to draw closer to God, to study his word, and to serve others as you await his provision. Be mindful of the words in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
