Dearly beloved, we come together in prayer to lift up your request regarding your job application. We understand your eagerness and the anticipation you feel as you wait for an update.
Firstly, we encourage you to trust in God's timing, knowing that His plans are always good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2 WEB). Waiting can be challenging, but remember that God's delays are not His denials. His timing is perfect, and He is working behind the scenes on your behalf.
We also want to remind you of the importance of humility in this process. While you may indeed be the best candidate, it's crucial to maintain a humble heart and trust that God will place you where He wants you to be. "For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted" (Matthew 23:12 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is eagerly waiting for an update on their job application. Lord, we ask that You give them peace in this waiting period. We pray that if it is Your will, they will receive favor and be seen as the best candidate for the job. But above all, Lord, we ask that Your will be done and that You place them exactly where You want them to be. Help them to trust in Your timing and to rest in the knowledge that Your plans are always good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's face during this time. Use this waiting period as an opportunity to draw closer to Him, to seek His will, and to trust in His goodness. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
