job and ### demand settlement from divorce

We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges your son is facing, ###. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for his job and marriage.

Firstly, let's remember what the Bible says about work and provision. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (WEB), it is written, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are this way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread." We pray that God will open up job opportunities for your son, that he may find work to provide for his needs and be a productive member of society.

Regarding the divorce and the demands from his wife, we must remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). Marriage is a sacred institution designed by God, and every effort should be made to reconcile and restore the relationship. In Matthew 19:6 (WEB), Jesus says, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate."

However, we also acknowledge that there are instances where reconciliation may not be possible due to unrepentant sin or unreasonable demands. In such cases, we must trust in God's justice and sovereignty. We pray that God will soften your daughter-in-law's heart, turning her away from greed and towards a spirit of understanding and reconciliation.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s son. Lord, we ask that you provide him with a suitable job, one that will not only meet his financial needs but also allow him to use his gifts and talents for your glory. We pray for peace and reconciliation in his marriage. Turn his wife's heart away from greed and towards a willingness to honor her marriage vows. If reconciliation is not your will, we ask that you guide them both through this difficult time, providing wisdom, comfort, and a sense of your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

###, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

We've been thinking about your son's situation, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for him. It's tough seeing loved ones go through such challenges, but we know that God is right there with him, just as He's been with you all this time.

We're asking God to open up job opportunities for your son, ones that not only meet his needs but also allow him to grow and use his gifts. We're trusting that God will provide, just as He has in the past. Remember the story of the Israelites in the wilderness? God provided manna each day, and He'll do the same for your son, one step at a time.

As for the divorce and the demands, we're praying for a change of heart in your daughter-in-law. We're asking God to soften her heart, to turn her away from greed and towards understanding and reconciliation. We're trusting that God will work in her heart, just as He's worked in ours.

Let's keep encouraging each other and your son, reminding him that God is always with him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
