We understand that you're seeking God's intervention for a new job and a move back to a location you prefer. Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's will in your life. In all things, it's important to trust in Him and align our desires with His purpose for us.
We remind you of the words from Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
As you seek a new job, remember Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." It's not just about the job, but also about the manner in which we do it. We should work as if we're working for the Lord Himself.
Regarding your move, we encourage you to consider that God places us where we are to serve His purpose. Sometimes, that means staying where we are, even if it's not our preferred location. Other times, He may indeed lead us to a new place. Ask God for clarity and be open to His leading.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up our brother/sister who is seeking your guidance for a new job and a move. We pray that you would open the right doors, and close the wrong ones. We ask that you would provide a job that not only meets their needs but also allows them to serve you and be a light to others. We pray for your will to be done regarding the move. If it's your will for them to return to their preferred location, we ask that you would make a way. In all things, we pray that they would trust in you and seek your will above all else. We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
