Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of hope and faith, lifting up Cylgond's needs and desires. Your Word says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We stand on this promise, believing that You have a good plan for Cylgond's life.
Lord, we pray for favor and provision in the job search. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and lead Cylgond to the right opportunity, especially the position at SweenynISD school, which would be a blessing due to its proximity to home. We ask that the applications be received with favor and that interviews be granted swiftly. Provide for every financial need during this time of furlough due to Hurricane Beryl, as Philippians 4:19 assures us, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We also lift up Fredrick, Cylgond's husband, for his release. Father, You are a God of justice and mercy. We ask that the parole board will see fit to grant his freedom and that he may soon be reunited with his wife and family. Psalm 146:7 says, "The Lord sets the prisoners free," and we claim this promise for Fredrick. May this reunion be a time of healing, joy, and restoration for their family.
In all these things, we trust in Your perfect timing and sovereign will. We pray for peace and patience for Cylgond as they wait on You, knowing that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
