We understand that you're going through a challenging time, especially regarding your job and financial situation. Firstly, we commend you for turning to the Lord Jesus in your time of need. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble and that our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth, as stated in Psalm 46:1 and Psalm 121:2 (WEB).
In times of financial struggle, it's crucial to recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?... Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
This doesn't mean we shouldn't work or be responsible; rather, it reminds us that our primary focus should be on God's kingdom and His righteousness. We should do our part by working diligently and making wise financial decisions, while trusting God to provide for our needs. Remember that it is God who gives us the ability to produce wealth, as stated in Deuteronomy 8:18 (WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through a dark time, especially regarding their job and finances. We ask for Your light to shine upon them and guide them through this challenging season. We pray for a breakthrough in their career and financial situation, trusting that You are a God who provides and cares for Your children.
We ask that you open your eyes to see the opportunities and unlock doors that no man can shut. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of poverty, lack, or scarcity that may be affecting them. We declare that they are children of the King, and that as their Shepherd, You shall supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus, as stated in Philippians 4:19(WEB).
Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them. Give them the strength and wisdom to make sound financial decisions and to work diligently, as unto You.
Lastly, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for being a very present help in times of trouble. We trust that Your will shall be done in their life, and that this season of darkness will soon come to an end. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able; but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it, as stated in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB). Stay strong in faith and keep trusting God, even in this difficult time. We are here with you in prayer and support.
