Anyone can hold a grudge, but it takes a person with character to forgive those who persecute you or speak evil of you.
When we forgive we release ourselves from a painful burden.
Forgiveness does not mean what happened was OK, we are obeying what Jesus said. Forgive others seventy times seven.
If we just obey Jesus, then all our burdens will be lifted and peace, joy and happiness shall fill our hearts.
