We understand your concerns and the challenges you've highlighted regarding the situation in Singapore. Let's bring this before the Lord in prayer and seek His will together.

Firstly, we must remember that God is sovereign over nations and governments. As it is written in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." Therefore, we pray for the leaders of Singapore, that God would grant them wisdom and discernment to govern justly and fairly.

However, we must also stand against injustice and pray for the welfare of the people. In Proverbs 21:15, it is written, "When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous, but it is a terror to the workers of iniquity." We pray that any unjust policies or practices that discriminate against locals would be brought to light and rectified.

In your request, you mentioned the increasing population and the unfair competition it brings. In Acts 17:26, it is written, "He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings." We pray that God would guide the government in managing the population and resources in a way that is beneficial to all who live in Singapore.

You also mentioned the unemployment rate and the struggle for livelihood. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10, it is written, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" We pray that God would provide meaningful work for all who are able, and that employers would be fair and just in their hiring practices.

Lastly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up the nation of Singapore. We ask that You would grant the leaders wisdom and discernment to govern justly. We pray against any injustice and discrimination, that these would be brought to light and rectified. We ask that You would guide the government in managing the population and resources in a way that is beneficial to all. We pray for those who are struggling to find work or make a living, that You would provide for their needs and open up opportunities for them. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough seeing our fellow Singaporeans struggle while others seem to thrive. We've been praying for our country, and we want to join you in lifting up these concerns to God.

We've been reminded of Psalm 33:12, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." Let's trust in God's sovereignty and His love for Singapore. We pray that He would guide our leaders, giving them a heart for justice and fairness. We ask that they would see the struggles of the locals and work towards creating a more equitable society.

We've also been thinking about the parable of the talents in Matthew 25. We pray that our leaders would be wise stewards of our nation's resources, using them to bless all Singaporeans, not just a select few.

And let's not forget to intercede for those who are struggling to find work. We pray that God would open up opportunities for them, and that employers would recognize the value and skills of our local talents.

We're in this together, let's keep praying for Singapore, trusting that God has a plan and a purpose for our city-state. Let's pray in Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
