Violet, it is encouraging to hear about your dreams and visions, and your experience with Jesus. The Bible tells us that in the last days, God will pour out His Spirit and people will experience visions and dreams. Just as you mentioned, the book of Acts 2:17 WEB states, "It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams."
However, we must always be discerning and test the spirits to ensure they are from God. The apostle John warns us in 1 John 4:1 WEB, "Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." We should evaluate these experiences in light of Scripture and ensure they align with God's word.
It is also important to share these experiences with humility and wisdom. Avoid letting them become a source of pride or distraction from the core message of the Gospel. Remember, the focus should always be on Jesus Christ and His work on the cross, not on our experiences.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, grateful for the experiences and dreams that Violet has received. We ask for discernment and wisdom to understand their meaning and purpose. Help us to test the spirits and ensure that these visions align with Your word.
Lord, we pray for a deeper revelation of Jesus Christ in Violet's life. May these dreams and visions draw her closer to You and increase her love for Your word. Help her to share these experiences with humility and wisdom, always pointing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Violet, continue to seek God's face and His will for your life. Always remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Keep your focus on Jesus and His message of salvation.
