Esther 5:1 :
Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.
Theological Implications:
Esther 5:1 reflects God’s sovereignty and faithfulness in the lives of His people. Even in a foreign land and under a king who did not acknowledge the God of Israel, God was at work through ordinary individuals to bring about His plan. Dear Heavenly Father , Thank You for Your Word and for this text from the book of Esther. Thank You for the example of Esther’s bravery and courage in approaching the king to request his favor. Please help us to have the same bravery and courage in our own life, to approach difficult situations with faith and trust in You. Give us the wisdom to know when to speak and when to be silent, and the strength to persevere in challenging times. We pray that You would grant us favor in the eyes of those around us, just as You did for Esther. Help us to walk in humility and grace, and to use any influence or position we have for the good of others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
