To The Cities That Have Ears To Hear:
Some things that seem right to man are simply not so in God's eyes. Despite appearances, it is delusional to think that God justifies wrongdoing and mistreatment.

His ways are not our ways.
THE BEATITUDES
Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said:
“Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled.
Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.
Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude you, and revile you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven, for in like manner their fathers did to the prophets. (Luke 6:20-23)
As I have stated before, while there is nothing wrong with having possessions, they are not prioritized in God's plan and purpose. Nowhere in the blessings pronounced here is there even mention of cars, houses, money, etc.; for even as Jesus was proclaiming these blessings over His disciples, He himself had no place to lay His head. Howbeit, if you keep reading, indeed Jesus makes His thoughts very clear about the self-willed, money driven life. God does not bless us with the world's goods for our own selfish greed, and certainly not that we should flaunt before those of lesser means. Moreover, we are not to glory in that which the works of our own hands produce - lest any man shall boast. For such boasting turns our so called "good works" into works of iniquity. If there's any boasting at all: "BOAST IN THE LORD."
Below is The Message Bible version which breaks the text down to a very basic understanding:
THE BEATITUDES
Then He spoke:
"You're blessed when you've lost it all. God's kingdom is there for the finding.
You're blessed when you're ravenously hungry. Then you're ready for the Messianic meal.
You're blessed when the tears flow freely. Joy comes with the morning.
Count yourself blessed every time someone cuts you down or throws you out, every time someone smears or blackens your name to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and that that person is uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—skip like a lamb, if you like!—for even though they don't like it, I do . . . and all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company; My preachers and witnesses have always been treated like this." (Luke 6:20-23)
Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.
