Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking forgiveness and strength in their battle against addiction. Lord, we acknowledge that we are all sinners in need of your mercy and grace. We thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness, for always being there for us, even in our imperfections.
Lord, we lift up our friend to you, asking for your forgiveness and healing. We pray that you would extend your loving arms of mercy and grant them the strength to overcome their addiction. Help them to resist temptation and find the support and resources they need to walk in freedom.
We pray, Lord, that you would surround our friend with your presence and fill them with your Holy Spirit. Give them the courage to seek help, to lean on you, and to trust in your power to deliver them from the bondage of addiction.
In your Word, you promise that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us. We claim this promise today, knowing that it is your will for our friend to find freedom and restoration. We trust in your faithfulness to answer our prayers.
We also pray for strength and perseverance for our friend. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on you, knowing that you are their source of hope and strength. Guide them in making wise choices and surround them with a supportive community that will encourage and uplift them.
Lord, we thank you for your forgiveness and for the opportunity to come to you in prayer. We trust in your power to transform lives and bring healing. May our friend experience your love and grace in a tangible way, and may they find true freedom and abundant life in you.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
