Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and grace. Your Word tells us in Psalm 121:1-2, "I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Lord, we lift up this prayer for relief from the intense heat. We know that You are the Creator of all things, and we ask for Your intervention to bring cooler temperatures and relief to those who are suffering, especially those with health problems.
Lord, we also lift up the people in Texas who are still without power. We pray for Your provision and protection over them. In Your Word, it is written in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." May Your strength and help be upon those in need, providing them with the resources and support they require during this challenging time.
Father, we also bring before You the situation involving Donald Trump. We pray for justice, protection, and safety for him. Your Word in Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, "The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord; He directs it like a watercourse wherever He pleases." We trust in Your sovereignty and ask that You guide and protect him according to Your will.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We are grateful for Your love and faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
