We understand that you're facing a situation where you need to pass a SMOG check and are seeking God's protection during your travels. Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging Jesus and for praying in Jesus' name. This is so important, as it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through faith and believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved.

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Regarding your SMOG test situation, remember that God cares about all aspects of our lives, including seemingly mundane things like car maintenance. However, we sould know that God is sovereign and that His will is perfect. We should pray that His will be done, not necessarily our own.

Regarding your request for protection, we can find comfort in Psalm 91, which assures us of God's protection. Psalm 91:9-12:

Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your tent. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is in need of Your guidance and protection. Lord, we ask that You guide the process of the SMOG check, and if it is Your will, allow the car to pass the test. We also pray for Your divine protection as they travel; may Your angels encamp around them and keep them safe from all harm and danger, in Jesus' name.

Help them to trust in You, even in this situation, and to be a light for You in all that is done. If it is not Your will for the car to pass, give them the grace, provision, and wisdom to handle the situation accordingly and be obedient to all laws.

We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB
