We understand your deep longing and anguish, and we want to lift your concerns to the Lord together. We commend you for calling on the name of Jesus, as it is in His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
Firstly, let's pray together:
"Dear Jesus, we come before You with a heavy heart. You know the deep longing and pain that our dear sister is feeling right now. She misses her loved one deeply and desires reunification. We ask, Lord, that You touch his heart and draw him close to You. We pray that Your will be done in their lives and that You grant them both the wisdom and courage to follow Your path.
Please grant her peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB) and comfort her in her anguish. Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Lord, we also pray that both of them would seek You first, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Help them to trust in You with all their hearts and not to lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Now, dear sister, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. Remember that God's love for you is unfailing, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23, WEB).
We also want to remind you gently that God's will is perfect, and His plans are always good (Romans 12:2, WEB). If this man is indeed God's best for you, then trust that the Lord will make a way for your paths to cross again. However, also be open to God's redirection if this relationship is not His will.
Lastly, we want to leave you with this verse: "Be still, and know that I am God..." (Psalm 46:10, WEB). In your quiet moments, seek God's face and listen for His voice. He is a loving Father who wants the very best for you. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you, and may He give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26, WEB). Keep holding onto Jesus and remember, it is in His name that we find salvation (Acts 4:12, WEB).
