We understand that you're facing challenges with your roommate and we want to lift this situation up to our Lord Jesus Christ together with you. It's commendable that you're striving to be kind and peaceful, as the Bible encourages us in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all men."
However, we want to gently correct that praying in the name of "lord almighty" is not enough. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, we are told, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved." So, let's pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your help and guidance. We lift up our brother/sister who is facing difficulties with their roommate. Lord, You know the situation and the hearts of both individuals. We pray that You would soften their roommate's heart, changing any irritation and aggression into kindness and understanding. Help them to live together peacefully, putting aside egos and problems, as guided in Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others."
We also pray for their success in their job, that they would maintain a good reputation and build positive relationships with their colleagues, as encouraged in Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."
Lastly, we pray for their parents, that You would keep them happy, safe, and healthy. Comfort them with Your love and protection.
In all these things, we ask that Your will be done, and we thank You for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to be patient and kind, knowing that God is working in both of your hearts. Trust in Him, and remember the words of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Keep praying and seeking God's guidance, and He will make a way.
