Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Gethith in prayer. Lord, we ask that You banish the anxious and depressive thoughts that are running through Gethith's mind. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we pray that You fill Gethith with Your joy, hope, and rest. Jesus, You said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Gethith is tired of being tired, Lord, and we ask that You provide the rest and peace that only You can give.
We trust in Your power to calm the storms within us, just as You calmed the stormy seas. Speak "Peace, be still" to Gethith's heart and mind. May Your presence bring comfort and renewal. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
