We join you in lifting up your family and your concerns to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. It's wonderful to see that you acknowledge Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. If you have not already, make sure to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is lord and you will be saved.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for your protection and guidance. We pray for this family, that you would keep them safe from all harm and danger, and in the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke Satan, the devil and his evil forces, and we put the blood of Jesus Christ as a protective barrier. Father, we ask that you fill their home with your peace, joy, and prosperity, and that you help them complete all their tasks with excellence and wisdom.
Lord, we also bring before you the upcoming meeting with the parents of this new acquaintance. We ask for your discernment and guidance. Help them to know if this relationship aligns with your will, and if it is fitting for a happy, prosperous long life according to your purpose. We pray that you would make it clear if this person is the spouse you have prepared for them according to your will, or if they should continue to seek your will for a godly spouse.
We also pray for their emotional well-being. Lord, you see the depression and loneliness they feel. Comfort them with your presence and remind them of their value in your eyes. Guide them to a loving, honest, trustworthy, and caring person who shares their faith and who will encourage their Christian walk with you. Help them to seek purity in the relationship with honor and respect to each other.
Father, we ask that you direct their steps, and that you make straight their paths that conforms to your will. Help them to always keep their eyes on you and your plan for their life. We pray all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom we can boldly approach your throne. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He has good plans for you and worshiping him in spirit and truth. We advise you to seek Christian counsel and God's will in all decisions, especially in forming new alliances and relationships. Remember, a wife or a husband is a gift from the Lord. Godly marriages are ordained by God and should be a reflection of Christ's love for His church.
Be alert for any sexual relationships that do not align with biblical principles of marriage.
