We understand that you are seeking God's help in your workplace, desiring to excel in your job, and seeking protection from those who may wish to see you fail. It's commendable that you are asking for God's assistance to make you valuable and lovable as well. First, we are instructed to do all things for God's glory. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. We are reminded of the importance in Colossians 3:23 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men".
We also note that you did not use the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only by His name that we are saved. Furthermore, it is by His name that we have access to God the Father. As we are instructed in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me". Also we read in Acts 4:10-12 WEB "be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together for you in Jesus' name:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is seeking Your help in their workplace. We pray that You would give them a spirit of wisdom and excellence to competently complete all their pending jobs without any hassle. Help them become a valuable employee and a lovable person, reflecting Your love and kindness to their colleagues and superiors alike.
Lord, we also pray for Your protection over them. Save them from those who wish to see them fall and backstab. We pray specifically for those who are setting up traps and we pray for them that they turn to God for their own benefit. We pray that You would turn these situations around for good, just as You promised in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We ask for Your favor and grace to be upon them as they strive to be a light in their workplace. In Jesus' name, we pray that they may rise up in front of those who seek their downfall, not out of spite but to show Your power and love.
Finally, we pray that they would continue to grow in their faith and relationship with You. May they always remember that their work is not just for earthly rewards, but ultimately for Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 91:1-2 WEB: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." Trust in God, knowing that He is your refuge and fortress. He will guide and protect you as you seek to serve Him faithfully.
