We join you in lifting up your family to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We appreciate your heartfelt prayer, but it is important to remember that God only hears and answers the prayers of those who call upon the name of Jesus. As you acknowledge Jesus as your Savior and Lord, your prayers are heard by God the Father. Therefore, let us be sure to pray in Jesus Name always.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister and his/her family to You, asking that You answer their prayers according to Your will. We ask that you will also keep them always blessed under Your loving protection, guiding them in their earthly walk and keeping them from the power of the evil one.
Father, we pray for their spiritual growth, that they may continually be transformed by the renewing of their minds as they study Your Word. May they put on the full armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the devil, ever ready to share the hope that is within them.
We pray for the spiritual health of their family, that any member who has not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior may come to a saving knowledge of Him. We pray that this family may be a light to the world, reflecting Your love and grace to all they encounter.
Lord, we also pray for their physical and emotional well-being. May they be blessed with good health, meaningful work, and joyful spirits. We ask that You provide for all their needs, that they may never lack any good thing. We ask that you will bless their marriage and protect their marriage bed from the impure.
Father, we thank You for the blessings You have already bestowed upon this family, and we trust in Your promise to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us remember the words of Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
So let us trust God the Father, Jesus Christ our Lord, and the Holy Spirit to intervene in our lives and the lives of our families. God loves us and has promised to take care of us. Let us be faithful and rest in His promises. Lets us be faithful to pray in Jesus' name, not just adding the name of Jesus at the end of our prayer but calling upon Him because we believe He is the Son of God.
