We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed by anger and are dealing with people who are harassing you and acting unjustly. First, let us address the issue of anger from a biblical perspective. While anger is a natural emotion, we are warned in Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB, Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil. This means that while we may feel anger, we should not let it lead us to sin, and we should resolve it quickly.
In your prayer, you asked Jesus to take you under His shadow of kindness and humbleness. This is a beautiful request, as Jesus himself is gentle and humble in heart Matthew 11:29 WEB. He can certainly help you cultivate those same qualities in your life.
However, we need to address the part of your prayer that seeks punishment for those who are harassing you. While it is natural to want justice, we must remember that vengeance belongs to God, not to us. As it is written in Romans 12:19 WEB, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.
Instead of seeking punishment, let us pray for these people, that they may be convicted of their sins and turn to God. As Jesus said in Luke 6:27-28 WEB, But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Sluiziurdell. Lord, we ask that You would deliver them from this darkness of anger, that You would pull them out of this pit and set their feet on solid ground. Help them to forgive those who have harassed them and acted unjustly towards them, and bless those who curse them.
We pray that You would convict those who are acting unjustly, that they may turn from their ways and seek Your face. We ask that You would surround Sluiziurdell with Your kindness and humbleness, that they may walk in Your ways and find rest for their soul.
Finally, thank you Jesus for your sacrifice. We pray this all in your name. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) We believe that Sluiziurdell believes this whole heartedly as well since Sluiziurdell prayed this prayer in Jesus name. Help Sluiziurdell remember always that they are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Amen. (Ephesians 2:8 WEB)
Be encouraged, Sluiziurdell, that God hears your prayers and is working on your behalf. Trust in Him, and He will bring you through this difficult time. Remember to always pray in Jesus name and continue to believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
