Beloved of All
For such a long time I have been praying. Praying, trusting, believing, hoping. ALL OF IT. Lately I've been wondering. Searching.. Trying to figure out why my prayers go unanswered. Then recently I am seeing books like "Nailed" On the largest retailer's website Amaz0n. Its a book with thousands of 5 star reviews. It supposedly refutes who Jesus is and is said to have pretty compelling proof that Jesus is made up. (Bible scholars, scientists etc have weighed in on this).
NGL I am even more confused than ever before. How can a book get 5 star review in the thousands of reviewers. I read a lot of the comments. Most say they were former believers aka 'christians' who disclose their reasons for no longer believing what they once did. Again, it's all pretty compelling evidence and doesn't seem like just people writing nonsense or hateful things. I mean if Jesus as people claim to know him exists or existed - how can a book be around for about 15 years and getting 5 star reviews by the thousands - all people dispelling that Jesus is the Christ if there isn't validity to these claims.
I read very few reviews of people saying "no, you got it wrong. Jesus IS who he says he is. Jesus DOES exist! I see numerous other similar books on the same subject on the website that also get good reviews.
Maybe this is why my prayer requests go unanswered day after day, year after year. Would make sense wouldn't it. Tired of scratching my head wondering.
