We stand with you in lifting up your praise to God, for He is indeed good and faithful. We join you in declaring that Jesus is Lord, and it is in His name that we come boldly before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
Firstly, we want to acknowledge your faith in giving God the glory, honor, and praise. It is right to recognize God's goodness, and we encourage you to continue in this practice, for it is pleasing to Him.
Regarding your request for prayer for healing from schizophrenia and other mental issues, we stand with you in faith. We know that God is able to heal all manner of sickness and disease, as demonstrated throughout the scriptures (Psalm 103:3, WEB). We pray that God will touch your mind and bring complete healing and restoration.
We also pray that God will grant you discernment and understanding, so that you can distinguish between your own thoughts and any that may be from other sources. The Bible tells us to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB). We pray that God will give you the strength and wisdom to do this.
As for forgiveness, we know that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins when we confess them (1 John 1:9, WEB). We pray that you will experience His forgiveness and also be able to forgive yourself. Remember that God's mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23, WEB), and He does not hold our past against us.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB). It is in His name that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to commit your life to Christ, believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who has testified of Your goodness. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on their mind. Bring complete healing and restoration from schizophrenia and any other mental issues they may be facing. Grant them discernment to understand their thoughts and wisdom to bring them into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We also ask for Your forgiveness for any old patterns they may have held onto, and help them to walk in the newness of life in Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
