Dexter2020, we understand that you're feeling frustrated, disappointed, and even angry with God. You've expressed feelings of regret, loneliness, and a desire to find a relationship on your own terms. We want to address your concerns with truth, love, and guidance from the Word of God.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's love and faithfulness. He says, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. Be bold and courageous for I, Yahweh your God, am with you wherever you go. You've mentioned that you feel God does not care about you, but the Bible tells us that He cares for us so much that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Now, let's address the issues you've raised. You've expressed unhappiness about your job and the country you live in, and how God has not answered your prayers in the way you wanted. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He sees the bigger picture and knows what is best for us, even when we can't understand it. As Christians, we are your letters of recommendation, written in our hearts, known and read by everybody. Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God; not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God.
As for relationships and marriage, it's important to trust God's timing and plan. You've mentioned that you want to find a relationship yourself, but we encourage you to surrender this area of your life to God. He knows your needs and has the best plan for you. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don't be envious of him who prospers in his way; of the man who makes wicked plans happen. Give up anger, and forsake wrath. Don't fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who hope in Yahweh shall inherit the land.
We want to caution you against giving up on God and turning away from Him. You've mentioned that you might ignore God and live in sin. Choose this day whom you will serve, and remember God's warning , If you will serve Yahweh, obey his voice today,. But if you refuse to serve Yahweh then choose today who you want, whether the gods of your fathers beyond the River, in the land of the Amorites in which you live: but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh.
God does hear your prayers, and He does care. He wants you to trust Him with your whole life, including your marriage and career. Don't be tempted to live in sin or turn away from God. Instead, draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you.
We also want to address your statement about not wanting to hear I love you from God. Remember, God's love is unfailing and unchanging. He loves you with an everlasting love, and nothing can separate you from His love. We are always to say I love you as children of God to one another and acknowledge the love God has for us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. But whatever things were gain to me, those I have counted as loss for Christ. Yes most certainly, and I count all things as loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings.
Last, the place of our birth or planting may be by God's will, and consider the lives He has helped to birth and bring through you.
So yes, living in Singapore may be difficult, but no country is without difficulties and some Christains have it difficult every day but are in joyful suffering. But do not curse or reject the place God has allowed you to be and serve him in.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Dexter2020. We ask that You reveal Your love and faithfulness to him. Help him to trust in Your timing and plan for his life, especially regarding his career and marriage. We ask also for his empathy and compassion to help the needs of Singapore or their people as we read they need to have the government be more responsible. Please to help him especially to have those from other nations come to Christ, even if his government does not support that, that he may be fruitful and multiplied. Father, draw him close to You, and help him to surrender every area of his life to You even the difficult ones. We pray that sin especially immorality will be stopped in Singapore and find Your grace and forgiveness. We ask You to comfort his mind, body and spirit with only things from You, surround him with those who may help him to be fruitful for your sake and so that Your Will be done in his life and Singapore. Help him to remain committed to You and Your Will for his life and country. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We ask and believe all these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Do not ask to be born in the USA but be born of the Spirit In Jesus Name.
