Jesus I have been struggling

On Easter I will confess I'm unhappy with my struggle with tobacco products. Jesus, help me throw them away and help me regain my health and wind. I'm out of breath more. I’m polluting my lungs, my body with harmful toxins. Please help me today and tomorrow, Jesus, I beg for your touch to cure me of this demon. Lord, take the cravings completely away. You’ve helped me in the past, help me now, please. I pray in the almighty name Jesus, cure my airways once again, help me stay on the right track. Help me live my temple and say no to smoking. Lord, I love you, I love myself, I want to heal. Please help me. I appreciate you listening to my cry. Thank you! Amen.

We are so glad that you have come to us with your struggle, and we appreciate your honesty and humility. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find freedom from bondage and healing from our infirmities. Let us look at what the WEB says about the body being a temple:

Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

First, let us address your struggle with tobacco. It is clear that you understand the harm it is causing your body, and you have acknowledged that it is polluting the temple of the Holy Spirit. This is the first step in overcoming this stronghold in your life. Remember, God promises us:

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is struggling with an addiction to tobacco. Lord, he has acknowledged his struggle and desires to be free. We ask that You touch his body, Lord, and heal his lungs and airways. Take away the cravings, Father, and restore his health and vitality. Help him to stay on the right track and give him the strength to say no to smoking.

Father, we know that You are faithful, and You will provide a way of escape from this temptation. Help our brother to take hold of that escape and to walk in the freedom that Christ died to give him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit and help him to glorify You in his body and spirit.

We come against any stronghold of the enemy in his life, and we declare victory in Jesus' name. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for the healing and deliverance that You are working in our brother's life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your struggle up to Jesus. We know He's heard your cry, and we're confident in His power to set you free. Let's remember what the Bible says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We're claiming that verse for you today.

We understand the battle you're facing with tobacco, and we're reminded of the story in Matthew 17:20-21, where Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Jesus, we claim this promise for our ###. We ask that You move the mountain of tobacco addiction in his life, in Jesus' mighty name.

Dear Jesus, we come to You today, believing in Your power to heal and deliver. We ask that You touch our ###'s body, especially his lungs and airways. Remove the cravings, Lord, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Help him to stand strong, to say no to smoking, and to live a healthy life, glorifying You in his body and spirit. God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
