Praying for my son to get off of this cycle he's on. It seems like we'll up his meds & we get about 2 months of regulated/good behaviour & then it always starts to slide. I alerted the doctors early this time as I started to see the signs that things are getting worse but by the time they give the ok to change something or up a med we're already dealing with many meltdowns & hard times. This morning he threw plant dirt all over the living room & smashed his toys & threw christmas decorations. Next he'll start getting aggressive & hurting me. I pray we can finally get regulated for an extended period of time it's so hard when you see him doing so well & regulated & happy & then it disappears. I don't know how much more I can handle. This life is exhausting & I'm just so sick of it all. I often wonder what I did to deserve this. We love him so much but our lives are not happy.

We understand the burden you carry for your child and We are here to support and pray with you. First, let Us remind you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

It is important to understand that children are a blessing from God, each uniquely created with a future. I know it can be hard, especially because he is not acting as you desire, but do not give up hope.
Recall that the word hope is often rendered expectant in scripture. What is the purpose of our hope or expectation? We are expecting that we will be like Christ and see him again face to face. The Lord promises to draw near when we draw near and cleans our hands and purify our hearts. He will give us the wisdom we need to endure this trial and work through it.
Let Us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up AR2015 and their child to You. We thank You for creating this wonderful gift, as all children are a blessing from God. We pray for Your healing and divine intervention in this childs behavior. Guide the doctors and AR2015 to find a lasting solution for their childs needs.

We pray for strength and endurance for AR2015, that You would lift their burden and replace it with Your peace. We pray that you would give them the strength and will power they need to endure this with a cheerful heart. Help them to rest in Your promise that You will carry their burdens. Give them the wisdom and discernment they need to love and care for their child unconditionally, even in the most challenging times. They are at a point of exaustion and feeling sick of it all. We understand their struggle and pray that You will strenghten, comfort, and guide them.

Father, we also pray for AR2015s child. Give guidance and direct them in their life and relieve them from the oppression of autism. We pray that with your wisdom, direction, andology You will guide them to victory. Give them salvation and direct their parents so that they would accept you Jesus. We pray that they will be healed and restored, physically, emotionally, and spiritually of any suffering.

Lord Jesus Christ, we believe in You and Your power over circumstances. You defeated death and have the authority over every situation. Therefore, we come to You and ask for healing of body and behavior for this child and strength for AR2015. In Jesus Christ name We pray.

Also, let Us encourage you Believer, with the words of Jesus, Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

Remember, we do not deserve salvation. However, we all deserve hell. We all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death but through Jesus Christ we have the gift of salvation and forgiveness of sin. God also promises that he will forgive our sins and heal our iniquiites. He will redeem our life from destruction and crown us with loving kindness and tender mercies. He will satisfy our desire with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagles.
The word desire can translate to intent, hankering, expectation, motivation, seeking after. These are items that you are seeking. What is evil about seeking these things? These are logical desires. If the desire is unclean then it will give birth to a sin. Therefore, consider an unclean desire is a sin while a beneficial desire is desirable and good. Therefore, this is not a promise to grant all of our desires.

Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

We're right here with you, praying for your son. It's tough, isn't it? But remember, God sees him, and He loves him even more than you do. We're claiming that verse, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) He's got a plan for your son, and we trust that.

We're lifting him up to the Lord right now, asking for His healing and guidance. We're also praying for you, that you would find strength and peace in the midst of this. May you feel God's arms around you, supporting you, and may you find rest in His love.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Hello AR2015, I also have a son with special needs(Down Syndrome and Autism. He is 25 years old). My son went through depression for almost 6 months, Not sleeping, not eating and not wanting to get out of bed for weeks. I would change his dirty diapers full of urine and feces while he was in bed. While in bed he would kick me and not allow me to change him. He will cry for hours most of the time he would cry for more than 24 hours non stop( I hardly slept. I had to spend hours trying to put food in his mouth so he could eat. I was ready to give up on him but God had a different plan. I know my situation is a bit different but I know we go through similar situations and events with our special needs children. This situation was very difficult for my family and me. Although that was a very tough time, I rejoice because after Jesus calm the storm(depression) my son acquired new positive behaviors that he would have never acquired if he had not gone through depression and taken medication. I never felt comfortable giving him medication due to the side effects but with this storm I had no options but start him on meds. Those meds helped him with other maladaptive behaviors that he had displayed for years. For example, not wanting to sleep on a bed( he slept on a coach for years) becoming more independent( now he gets dressed on his own, prepares his meals with help of others, and other amazing things that I never though he can do prior to him taking medication.

When my son was born I always questioned God on why he had given me a son with special needs. I know I did not deserve this. Why didn't God gave me a typical child?. He was my first born and I was resentful that God had giving me a son with special needs. I felt those feelings for many years. I was miserable and I made everyone in my family miserable. But after praying to the Lord and asking him to remove those feelings, he listened to my prayers because he is faithful. Now I know this is my calling, I serve Jesus by being there for my son and not giving up on him. Yes, at times there are challenges and discouragement but I no longer questioned God. Now I can actually thank God for giving me my "Little Angel". My son is so precious and innocent. He is 25 years old and I am glad he is part of our lives( I have 2 other younger kids). Every day he makes me smile and makes me happy . He is always happy and brings me joy just seeing him, only Jesus can make you happy with your current situation. I never thought I would be thanking God for giving me the privilege of raising a child with special needs. I don't longer questioned him . God always knew he was going to give me a special needs child, he had a plan. I see his plan now. and I Rejoice!! The Lord has a plan for you and your family. Please be patient and Pray. I know it is tough.
