Jesus, grant us a full measure of your Holy Spirit and the faith to follow you unreservedly. Do not let our lack of faith interfere with your desire to bestow gifts on your people. Raise us up to be uninhibited vessels of your love, power, and grace.

We are your hands, your heart, your ears, your eyes, and your mouth in this world. Open our souls. Rid us of all that hinders your movements. Let us die to self and give you are bodies and life to bring about your kingdom of love, healing, and unity.

Renew the church with another Pentecost. I yearn for you to breath over the waters and bring forth life. Give us the same charismatic gifts that you gave to the apostles, which converted thousands in one day. Let us make this gift to you, the gift of converted souls because of your radiating presence within us.

Give us the gift of prophecy so that we may convey Gods message to each individual. Give unto us the gift of tongues as well as the gift to interpret them so that we may render to everyone, God’s message. Give us the gift of faith to enable us, at any given moment, without human reasoning or any sense of doubt, to ask or to speak, in the name of Jesus, in such a way that everything he says or asks must come to pass. Give us the gift of healing to enable us to be God’s instrument in bringing about the well being of another person who is sick, whether spiritual, psychological and/or physical. Give us the gift of miracles to show that we are your representatives. Give us the gift of the word of wisdom so that we may be granted an insight into God’s plan, in each and every given situation, so that we may put it into words of advice and direction. Give us the gift of the word of knowledge so that we may be granted an insight into the divine mysteries or facets of man’s relation to God, so as to put this into words that help others to grasp the mysteries. Give us the gift of discernment so that to know the source of an inspiration or action, whether it came from the Holy Spirit, his own human spirit, or from the evil spirit.

Let us be reflections of your humanity and your divinity. Let us ask the gifts not for our own glory but for yours. Not that we will be noticed but that you will be noticed. In your name we ask this. Amen! Amen! Amen!

Father, I thank You for being the God of every blessing, the fount of every joy, and the source of everything good. I know it is in Your heart to bless the lives of Your children, and as Your child, I desire Your blessing upon my life. Thank You that Your blessings enrich my life, leave me without sorrow, bring me the treasures of Your grace, and express all the kindness of Your favor. In Jesus name, Amen.
