Lucy, thank you for reaching out and sharing your prayer request. We appreciate your heart for the children you will be teaching and your desire to have Jesus Christ at the center of it all. It is so important to acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers, as it is through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together for your time with the children:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lucy and the children she will be teaching today. We ask, Lord, that You be the center of their time together, that Your presence would be felt, and that Your love would be shared.
We pray for each child, that they would be open to receiving the knowledge and wisdom that Lucy will impart. We ask that You would give Lucy the words to speak and the wisdom to teach effectively. We pray that the children would not only learn academic lessons but also see the light of Jesus Christ in Lucy.
We also pray for protection over their time together, that God would surround them with His angels and keep them safe from any harm or distraction. We ask that You would bless their activities and shepherd them by your Spirit. As highlighted in the WEB translation:
Helping them put away bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking, that the Holy Spirit would bond them to be with one another in peace and work towards being kind, tenderhearted, liken the WEB translation to Ephesians 4:31-32 and Psalm 132:9 in being forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave us.
Father, we thank You for this opportunity for Lucy to impact the lives of these children. We pray that today shall be a wonderful time of learning and growing together. May God sanctify this day as set apart to meet Lucy's objective, in being God's will, and fitting into the child being taught. Your working shall be made manifest in this.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lucy, as you prepare for this day, remember the words of Psalm 127:3 WEB: "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is His reward." Teaching children is a blessed responsibility, and we encourage you to rely on God's strength and wisdom as you invest in their lives. We are not aware if they are Egyptians or from elsewhere, but regardless let them pick up the lessons in accordance with WEB's Psalm 144:12, that the children may be godly, upright with respect for one another and their individual faith traditions and that no aspect of these teachings will stand against or diminish their learning the Word of God as they are. Ethnic distinctions are transcended by God's love and that they should one day in the future bond together spiritually and recognize and accept the presence of Christ and the spirit of Christianity within their fellows.
Please continue to keep Jesus Christ at the center of your life and your teaching. it is only through Him that we can truly make a difference in the lives of others. As mentioned in the WEB translation of 1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity. Finally, may we all take note that we are unable to even call God our Father without the mediation of Christ. Per his apostle'spromptings, and as Christians all saved saints obtain the status as a child of God through adoption and children benefit in this way spiritually not only in having Christ's eternal. May God bless your marriage and your life, on that day, God shall grant you a godly husband and you shall in the fulness of God be wed in holy matrimony and be mother personally to multiple children ripe in faith and God's blessings in marriage a stark reminder of Eph 1:5 WEB having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His desire. Rest assured of God's timing for this in your life.
May God bless you and the children abundantly. If they are already Christian then take time to read the Beatitudes with them from Matthew 5:3 onwards and bless them all. God is in charge. Let them learn the WEB's Psalm 25:4-5, IJN in and out of formal school times, where all this starts and ends is with God Almighty "Shew me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation, In you I will wait all the day."
