First, we want to commend you for acknowledging the name of Jesus, for it is written: "For there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB) Therefore God also highly exalted Him, and gave to Him the name which is above every name. (Philippians 2:9 WEB) It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that our requests are made known to God. Without the name of Jesus or Christ at the end of a request, a Christian has no power for God to respond to their request. A Christian needs to make sure to do all things, including prayer, in Jesus Name. (Colossians 3:17 WEB)
