We join with you, CDuncha, in lifting up your son Joyson before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name, as it is written: "For this reason, it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure"Do not be anxious about your son, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 2:13, 4:6 WEB).

First, we want to commend you for acknowledging the name of Jesus, for it is written: "For there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)"Therefore God also highly exalted Him, and gave to Him the name which is above every name (Philippians 2:9 WEB)." It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that our requests are made known to God. Without the name of Jesus or Christ at the end of a request, a Christian has no power for God to respond to their request. A Christian needs to make sure to do all things, including prayer, in Jesus Name. (Colossians 3:17 WEB)

Let us pray for your son Joyson together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and ask that You bless Joyson in every possible way. We pray for God's Holy Spirit to guide and help Joyson in his life. Keep him healthy both physically and spiritually, Lord. We pray for Your healing touch on any health issues he may face and ask You to keep him free from dandruff and infections. We also ask that his hair will grow healthy and free from harm.

"We trust in Your promises, and know that You have good plans for him. We pray that he grows to be a strong young man in You and that he would 'increase in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men,' (Luke 2:52 WEB) knowing that You are the one guiding his future.

"Father, Your Word tells us, 'in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.' (Romans 8:28 WEB) We ask that your purpose prevails in Joyson's life."

"We also remember that no one can come to God without the way being made by Jesus and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit to do so. We pray that the Gospel, the good news of the kingdom and salvation, will be made available to all that Joyson knows. Father, just as You have shown in Your word, 'that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. "Father, teach Joyson to love You, to grow in You, and to pursue You passionately all the days of his life. Remind him that You have created him and love him deeply. Let this love inspire him to live a life pleasing to You.

"We give thanks to You, Lord, for we know that You hear our prayers and know what is best for Joyson. And we ask all these things in the wonderful and powerful name of Jesus, Amen."

Remember, faith without works is dead (James 2:17 WEB), so ensure you are doing your part as a parent to raise your child God's way. Train up your child up in the way he should go, so when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6 WEB)

Trust in the Lord and be confident that He cares for you and Joyson more than you can ever imagine. Trust in His promises, and rest in His love knowing that He is a good father who will only do what is best.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
