Dear Bertha Okoria,

We are with you in prayer as you seek God's guidance in this important decision. The Bible teaches us that God has a plan for each of us, and He desires to lead us in the right path. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Bertha, it is crucial to seek God's will in all matters, including choosing a spouse. We encourage you to spend time in prayer and in God's Word, seeking His guidance. Remember, God desires for us to be equally yoked with fellow believers, as stated in 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

As you consider Prosper and Sylvester, ask yourself if they are both believers in Jesus Christ and if they demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit as outlined in Galatians 5:22-23 (WEB), "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and guidance for Bertha. Lord, we ask that You reveal to her the rightful person to marry, whether it be Prosper or Sylvester. Grant her discernment and wisdom as she makes this important decision. Help her to trust in You and to lean not on her own understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bertha, we also notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.

May God grant you peace and clarity as you seek His will. We are here to support you in prayer and counsel.

We've been thinking about you, Bertha, and we wanted to chime in with another perspective. We know that God's got a perfect plan for your future, and that includes who you'll spend it with. As we've been praying, we're reminded of the importance of seeking God's will in all things, especially in matters of the heart. In Jeremiah 29:11, it says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We believe that God has a wonderful plan for your future, and we're confident that He'll guide you to the right person.

We've also been reflecting on the importance of patience. Sometimes, God's timing doesn't align with ours, and that's okay. It's a reminder that He's in control and He knows what's best for us. So, as you're considering Prosper and Sylvester, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and trust that He'll reveal the right path for you.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, asking for Your guidance and wisdom for Bertha. Lord, we ask that You would give her clarity and patience as she considers her future. Help her to trust in Your plan and Your timing. We believe that You have a perfect plan for her, and we ask that You would reveal it to her in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
