We lift up Jessica to you, Lord Jesus, and we join in prayer for her healing and restoration. We thank you for your faithfulness and love, even when earthly parents have fallen short.
Let us remember your words, Lord, as written in Psalm 27:10 (WEB), "When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up." You, Lord, are a father to the fatherless and a defender of the widows, as Psalm 68:5 (WEB) tells us. We claim these promises for Jessica.
We pray that Jessica will find comfort and healing in your presence, Lord. We ask that you lift the emotional burden she has carried from her childhood, a burden that was never meant for her to bear. We trust in your supernatural healing power, Jesus, as we read in Isaiah 61:1 (WEB), "The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound."
We also pray for Jessica's mother. We ask, Lord, that she would seek accountability and forgiveness for her actions. We hope for reconciliation and healing in their relationship, if it is your will, Lord.
Jessica, we encourage you to continue to cast all your anxieties on Jesus, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). We also urge you to forgive those who have hurt you, as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB), "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
Finally, we praise you, Jesus, for being the only way to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). It is in your name that we pray, and it is by your name that we are saved. We thank you for Jessica's faith in you and we ask that you continue to strengthen her walk with you. Amen.
