Omar, we appreciate your passionate prayer request and your heart for obedience to God. However, we want to clarify a few things to ensure our prayers are aligned with biblical principles.
Firstly, the name of God that was revealed to Moses in the Old Testament was Yahweh, not Jehovah. The use of Jehovah comes from a manmade hybrid not a true translation or transliteration. It is a hybrid combination of Yahweh and Adonai. In the New Testament, God reveals Himself through Jesus Christ, as Jesus is the exact image of God (Colossians 1:15, Hebrews 1:3). It is through Jesus that we have access to God, as Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved.(Acts 4:12). We will pray with confidence in the name of Jesus Christ that your request is heard.
Secondly, we believe in the Trinity. The Father (Yahweh, Jehovah, Allah), the Son (Jesus, Yeshua), and the Holy Spirit are one and all are God, separate but equal in essence. The will of the Father and the Son are not opposed to each other but are one.(John 1:1, John 1:14, John 5:17-18, John 10:30, Colossians 2:9, John 8:58) When we pray to obey Jesus Christ, we are also praying to obey the Father and the Holy Spirit. In obedience to the will of God. In the Old Testament and the New Testament there is a principal that we are obedient to all that God has said to do and obey his commands to follow and honor him.(John 14:15, 2 John 6, Deuteronomy 11:1, Deuteronomy 5:33, Ecclesiastes 12:13) The commands to obey his words are all throughout the Bible. If this is what is meant by obedience to Jesus as the Father obeys, then this aligns with scripture and is appropriate to pray.
Now, let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between you and humanity. We ask, Lord, that Your Spirit would enter into the deepest parts of our minds, hearts, souls, spirits, and bodies, just as Omar has requested. We pray for a desire and obedience to honor Jesus Christ as you do. We ask that this obedience will transform each of us, making us more like Jesus. We ask for this not only for Omar but we are obedient and agree to pray for every person, starting from the first humans Adam and Eve until the last person to whom Jesus gives life on earth. For our neighbors and every other person. And finally, for us also. We thank you, Father, that you hear our prayers. We ask this all in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
Omar, we encourage you to continue seeking God with all your heart. Remember the words of Jesus, "If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:31-32 WEB). Continue to pursue and pray for intimacy and obedience with God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We will keep you in our prayers as well. God's blessings upon you.
