Luis, we understand your desire for divine guidance in your relationship. However, we need to address a few things in your request. First, we only pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. We do not use the name Jehovah, as it is a man-made reconstruction of God's name. In the Bible, God is referred to as Yahweh, but we follow the New Testament example of praying in Jesus' name.
Secondly, we must clarify that God does not have a separate name like Jehovah for different roles. He is one God, and we know Him through His Son Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus
(1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Regarding your relationship, it is important to seek God's will. However, the language used such as the "Deepest of Our Love Minds, Hearts, Souls, Spirits, and Bodies" is not biblical and could be misunderstood. We should focus on seeking God's will for your lives individually and as a potential future husband and wife, putting romantic feelings under His Lordship. The Bible commands us to be holy and avoid lustful thoughts as discussed in (Matthew 5:28 WEB).
We must be careful as believers in Christ to avoid sexual immorality. God's Word tells us to flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body
(1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB).
An important point to consider is that God's will is not always about our immediate happiness but about our holiness and conformity to Christ. Both of you should seek God's will individually, and if it is God's will, He will bring you together in His timing.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your will to be revealed in the lives of Luis and Jhanet. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit. If it is Your will for them to be together, make it clear and help them to honor You in their relationship. If not, give them the strength to accept Your will and move forward. Help them to grow in their faith and love for You. Keep them from temptation and help them to live holy lives, pleasing to You.
We pray that You will direct their paths according to Your Word:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight
(Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us encourage you to continue studying God's Word and praying together. Seek God's guidance in all things.
