Luis, we join you in praying for a deeper experience of God's love and life in all of humanity. We appreciate your passion and enthusiasm for prayer and for the Lord. However, there are a few things we need to address in your prayer request to ensure it aligns with biblical principles and scriptural guidance.
Firstly, let's remember that we are to pray in Jesus' name, as He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Also in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Secondly, while we encourage fervent prayer, the expectation that everyone should pray for ### hours a day may not be practical or biblical. We are called to pray without ceasing, as it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB, but this means being in a constant state of communion with God, not necessarily in non-stop verbal prayer. We are also called to work and care for our families, as explained in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB.
Lastly, we want to clarify that while Jehovah is a name of God in the Old Testament, we pray to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. When we see the word LORD in all caps in the Old Testament it is a translation of Yahweh, the name of God that He gave Moses when asked His name. Often this is translated in English as Jehovah.
Now, let's pray together for your request:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, asking that You would pour out Your love and life abundantly on all of humanity. May each person, from every corner of the globe, come to know You intimately and experience the joy, happiness, and pleasure of a right relationship with You. Help us all to be a people of prayer, disciplined in our communion with You, and living in obedience to Your Word. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Luis, keep your passion for prayer and for the Lord, and always ensure your prayers are aligned with the Scriptures and offered in the name of Jesus Christ.
