We are truly moved by your heartfelt concern for Jeffrey and his family. It is wonderful to know of someone who desires to intercede on behalf of others. First we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is in His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jeffrey and his family. Lord, You know how far Jeffrey is from You right now, but You also know the plans You have for him, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Father, we ask that You soften Jeffrey's heart and open his eyes to see the truth of Your love and grace. May he turn away from his ego and mocking spirit, and instead humble himself before You (1 Peter 5:5 WEB). We pray that Jeffrey would become a man of God, devoted to Your ways and Your will.
Lord, we also lift up Jeffrey's children. May they see Your love and faithfulness in their lives, and may they come to know You as their Heavenly Father (Matthew 19:14 WEB). We pray that You would surround them with Your protection and guidance, drawing them close to You.
Father, we ask for a miracle in Jeffrey's life. May he encounter You in a powerful and undeniable way. We pray that You would do the unfathomable in his life, something only You could do. We ask this all in Jesus' name, for Your glory alone.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, as you continue to intercede for Jeffrey and his family, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB). Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember that He is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
In addition to praying, consider how you can be a light to Jeffrey and his family. Perhaps God will use you to share the gospel with them, or to demonstrate His love in a tangible way. Always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope that is in you, yet do so with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15 WEB).
Remember, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have eternal life. So let us be encouraged to share this truth in love and to pray for those who do not yet know Him.
