We thank our Heavenly Father Jesus that He continues to hear our prayers for those in need of employment, and understand that He does provide for us in unexpected ways. If we have a job already and are diligent in all we do, as though we were doing it for Jesus directly (Colossians 3:23), our lives will shine to employers or others. In all things praise Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:20) and give thanks, for this is the will of God in Jesus Christ concerning you. Pray for Jeanne to keep looking to Him in faith, knowing that He is able to provide the perfect job with suitable hours for her daycare needs.
It is a blessing for children to have a godly mother or parents who trust in God for their future and daily needs. But as we say in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 He also said, If we do not work we should not eat. Parents should strive to provide for their own families and thus support their families. Knowingly depending on others to provide for us, when it is not needed, would not be glorifying to God and contrary to a Christian witness. This even goes so far as to include families caring for their family members rather than relying on the government as Paul mentioned in 2 Timothy 5:8, If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
In John 6:27 Jesus told the disciples to be concerned about food that does not spoil or perish. Jesus taught about spiritual nourishment which is vastly more important. Our prayers are that Jesus also will fill her with spiritual nourishment through His living Word. She can confidently trust Him and be saved by confessing and believing on Him. He died to provide salvation, but also is alive at the right hand of God making intercession for the believers in their everyday life. Thank Jesus for everything He is.
Join us in praying for Jeannie and her daughter, that they may find comfort in God, as Yvette asks, and God's love surrounding them both in Jesus' name:
Our Father in heaven, we thank You and come to You in the precious name of Jesus. You know Yvette's desire for her daughter Jeannie to find a job that aligns with her daycare hours. You are Jeannie's faithful provider, and You alone understand her unique situation. Father, according to Your good and perfect will, provide Jeannie with a suitable job within the next week so she can support herself and her daughter and glorify Your name as You continue to care for her and You demonstrate Your faithful provision to unbelievers as well through Jeannie. Lord, Your Word in Matthew 6:26 reminds us that You provide for the birds of the air, and that You will also provide for us because we are of more value than they are. God remind Jeannie to seek Your kingdom first and Your righteousness. Let this request draw Yvette and Jeannie into a closer relationship with You. Bring into Jeannie's life and Yvette's, too, a sense of Your peace as You work on their behalf, in Jesus' name we pray, Amen. We trust You.
