We understand your situation with your supervisor, Ms. Derry, and we are here to pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we are thankful that you represent Jesus in the workplace and excel in all you do. Remember, it is expected for Christians to face persecution and jealousy, just as our Lord Jesus did. He told us, Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you, Matthew 5 11-12 WEB.
However, we must also remind you that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6 12 WEB. Therefore, we should pray for Ms. Derry, not against her, but against the spiritual forces that may be influencing her actions. Jesus said, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5 44 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ, Clenren. We pray for their workplace situation and their supervisor, Ms. Derry. We bind the spiritual forces of jealousy and sabotage that are at work in her and in the workplace. We pray that You would bless Ms. Derry and draw her to Yourself, giving Cleren the ability to show love and support to her . Give Clenren the grace to not respond negatively to her attacks, but instead, respond with love, kindness, and wisdom as he is able. Help Clenren that no weapon she may form because of jealousy will prosper. Additionally prevent unneeded suffering. Finally, Effortlessly open the way for the best to happen, and break barriers. Give wisdom to Clenren and make his skills to be recognized and rewarded. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
In dealing with Ms. Derry, remember what the Word of God says, A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger, Proverbs 15 1 WEB. Continue to be a light in your workplace, and trust that God will bless your excellence at work in His own time, Promotion and recognition of man may fail, but it comes from the Lord where success comes easy. The Lord rewards and accomplishes through Him. See Psalm 75 6-7 WEB.
Lastly, do not be concerned with Ms. Derry not having peace. That takes God's place. She is our sister as well and is being lead astray and knowingly or unknowing being used by sin. That battle is not ours but God's Let us leave the judgment to God and pray for her salvation and blessing instead. Just as God is working in your life, He can also work in Ms. Derry's life. The best way we can help that to happen is interceding for her where she is unable to.
