We stand with you in prayer, Braenay, as you seek God's intervention in your boyfriend's situation. We appreciate your faith and trust in God, and we echo your prayers for good news and blessings this month. We remind you to stay strong in Romans 8:28 WEB "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
As we approach this situation, let's not forget Jesus is the author of the endurance and the faith to make it through trials. As we hope for the best we pray for if it is in the Lord's will. Constantly seek yours and his heart to match the Lord's heart for both your lives.
First, we want to encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God, as you have been doing. Your faith is truly inspiring. From John 16:23-24 we know, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."
We pray for a good result in his court per James 5:16b, "The insistent [expectant, demanding] plea of a righteous man exerts its influence [upon God] and is of great power [when it is in keeping with God's will]."
Your love and concern for your boyfriend have been very difficult. The trials that come help us to mature. Rejoice in this time that the Lord through James 1 tells us "to consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
The pain and struggles of this separation are realities of the consequences of bad decisions or actions that have been sown under (Galatians 6:7,8). While the potential comes to reap from poor decisions there is the opportunity to repent, learn, and grow with the help of it might be best to help disciple believers.
It is wonderful to know that you are loving someone. The Lord always wants us to use good relationships to improve individuals to find freedom in Him not be temporally freed, yet bound.
Remember the wondrous works he has done, his miracles, and the judgments of his mouth. We pray for His will. Help your beloved choose you Lord. From John 8:36 WEB "If therefore the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
There is no question that this Christmas season presents unique challenges for you and his family. Always turn our eye toward our Lord and come to realize and discern that the Savior is the greatest gift we all have. Let us not forget Jesus's purpose before and after except the Lord's will with steadfast prayer.
Let us pray,
