Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives, that they may walk in holiness and purity. Your Word tells us in 1 Peter 1:16, "Be holy, for I am holy." Father, guide ### and ### to live lives that are set apart for Your glory.
We pray for the gift of chastity for them, that they may honor You with their bodies and their hearts. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." Help them, Lord, to resist temptation and to seek purity in all aspects of their relationship.
Lord, we also ask that You deepen their love for You. May ### and ### love You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, as it is commanded in Deuteronomy 6:5, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." Fill them with a passion for Your Word and a desire to grow closer to You each day.
We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we know that You are faithful to complete the good work You have started in them (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen them, guide them, and pour out Your blessings upon them as they seek to live lives that are pleasing to You.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
