J IS HOSPITALIZED WITH CHF + EITHER PULMONARY EDEMA OR PNEUMONIA

Dear Lord,

J had a stroke 7 or 8 years ago + has a history of heart problems. Now he's developed CHF + lung problems. He's in his upper 80s + may not survive this latest hospitalization.

I pray that his kidneys respond to the diuretics + the excess fluid will shift out of his lungs, be mobilized to the kidneys, + excreted. May this relieve the load on his heart/lungs + lead to his recovery.

I'm sure his wife is beside herself. They've been married around 68 years. Give her comfort as she struggles to get through this. I pray their son, who turned away from you some time ago, will consider what it means to die + what his own eternal destiny will be. J is a strong Christian, as is his wife, so they are secure for eternity, but their son is not--their son also did not raise his own 2 children to know you. May he have an epiphany + turn back to you, + work toward helping his own children know you as well.

God let me greet each day with a heart of thanksgiving unto You for who You are, all You have done, and will do in my life. Help me, show me how, and bless me to have a stronger more intimate relationship with You and fulfill my God-Purpose. God encamp Your angels all around me to cover and protect me from all sickness, evil, hurt, harm, danger, accidents, the plans of my enemies, and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God deal with my enemies according to Your Word. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those I care about. God forever honor this prayer over each of our lives daily. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Thank You Jesus.
